WorkSmart: New coworking space in repurposed TD First National Bank building
Following more than a year of renovations, WorkSmart now occupies approximately 6,000 square feet as the anchor tenant in the former First National Bank Bank building built in 1914.
“It’s not just a desk and a chair,” Ms. Alexander says. “I’m making sure professionals have what they need to succeed - connections, resources, tools, and collaborations with others in the community.

Former First National Bank building in downtown Glens Falls turned into coworking, meeting space
For Christy Alexander, community is everything. The idea behind WorkSmart is simple: provide working professionals a place to complete tasks and host meetings in a professional setting rather than a home office or neighborhood coffee shop, where distractions are rampant and privacy is scarce.
The member-driven organization offers a variety of packages, depending on needs, and provides a host of day-to-day services, including office and conference room rentals.

WorkSmart fonder, Christy Alexander embarked on a journey to renovate the iconic First National Bank building in Glens Falls. The renovation on the building, originally built in 1914, will include private offices, shared workspace and a variety of meeting spaces for business professionals.
